VicenzaOro will be back in September with two international events. The starting date is on 5th September in Cortina d’Ampezzo with VicenzaOro About J, the exclusive Event by invitation only, created by Fiera di Vicenza and reserved for high range Italian and international jewellery.
The appointment for this new edition is at the Grand Hotel Savoia where 23 prestigious Italian and foreign brands, the leaders of Italian and international haute couture jewellery, will be presenting their collections to a select audience of buyers from Central Europe, East Europe, Central Asia, the Middle and Far East, the United States and Central America and top Italian retailers. Maestro Gianmaria Buccellati will be the Guest of Honour.
On 8th September, the VicenzaOro About J Community will be at Fiera di Vicenza for the opening of VicenzaOro Fall, the autumn edition of the international gold and jewellery show scheduled to take place from 8th to 12th September 2012, where 1400 exhibitors from the main Italian gold districts and 30 foreign countries will be the star players.
The theme of the Show, which is aimed at Italian and international retailing, is “Creativity 5.0” – how to re-invent savoir faire with new tools, using technology and new distribution methods. In fact, nowadays, manufacturing creativity needs to be enriched and structured with a series of new skills: understanding the market, research into trends, attention to contemporaneity, cross-fertilisation with art, design and fashion, connectivity, web marketing and new distribution strategies.
One of the events planned for the autumn edition of VicenzaOro is the presentation of TrendBook 2014, a summary of the great work that Trend Vision Jewellery + Forecasting, the permanent and independent research authority for gold and jewellery trends, created and sponsored by Fiera di Vicenza, has carried out. Eighteen months ahead of time, the Book will present an analysis of the mega trends that will be influencing consumer evolution and choice.
Palazzo Bonin Longare will be hosting the “Souvenir d’Italie – Souvenir Jewellery from Memory and Design “ Exhibition where the three winning designs and the jewellery items of the other 17 finalists in the Next Jeneration - Jewellery Talent Contest 2012, produced by Vicenza companies and associates of Confartigianato and CNA Vicenza, will be on display. Other items representing souvenir jewellery will also be exhibited.
VicenzaOro Fall will also see the launching of the second edition of the “Next Jeneration – Jewellery Talent Contest” in collaboration with Milan Polytechnic’s Faculty of Design. The new theme for 2013 is “Porte Bonheur. Contemporary amulets and lucky charms”. In the wake of last May’s success, the second edition of the international “Andrea Palladio Jewellery Awards” will also be announced. The first edition saw awards presented to great designers like Giampaolo Babetto and Gjis Bakker and to famous brands like Crivelli, Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier.
