Printor at Lyon Eurexpo from 6 to 8 February 2011

This year, Printor – the trade fair for all watch and jewellery professionals- will be held at Lyon (France) Eurexpo (Hall 6) from 6 to 8 February 2011. This year’s event will be a must. Printor acts as the trade barometer and is dedicated to retailers and outlets, providing them with a host of ideas and solutions to boost their stores thanks to the advice, training, and wide and varied collections on display.

For the past 19 years Printor has been a unique occasion for watch and jewellery professionals. With 600 brands on display and 12,000 square metres of exhibition space, this year the Printor fair will once again be the undisputed trade leader in France.

Over the course of three days, exhibitors will be presenting their new creations, opening up the trade to new market trends.

New areas for 2011:

The Trends and Window Display Competition area will be an original way for exhibitors to promote their new products. 6 displays will be created by decorators, window dressers, and jewellery schools. This is an interactive area since visitors will be able to vote for their favourite display

Over the past few years, Printor have built up a genuine partnership with French Spirit to provide trade buyers with in-depth work on consumer expectations for watches and jewellery carried out by the Francéclat Committee. Buyers will be able to discover exhibitors’ latest creations at the entrance to the fair as presented by window-dressers and based on the 3 themes of the 2011 Influences guide published by the Francéclat Committee: Future Nature – New Romance – Luxe Trash.

Window display competition

There will be a prize draw for jewellers who cast a vote in the display competition, with 2 weekends at the Château du Breuil (France) to be won.

New in 2011: the “Haute Joaillerie Lyonnaise” pavilion

The Greater Lyon Community and Printor have joined forces to create an outstanding pavilion to present the high added value of jewellery from Lyon. Casting and jewellery workshops, as well as the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (one of the Best Craftsmen of France) gem setter will be there to welcome visitors, and to demonstrate their love of beauty.

A photographer from Lyon, Marie Bienaimé, will be documenting their expertise and the exceptional presentation of a very valuable piece by Herzo and Tournaire.
