LUXURY Privé increases the Luxury amenities for its buyers this year. This will solidify the Show’s position as THE destination during July Jewelry week in New York City. LUXURY Privé (now open to all qualified retailers) will take place from Sunday, July 27th to Tuesday, July 29th at the Waldorf-Astoria on Park Avenue.
The redesigned Show floor, at the recently renovated Waldorf-Astoria, will welcome over 60 exhibitors this year, including the following new exhibitors: A & P Afarin, Aaron Shum, ALISA, Cicada Jewelry, Color Story, Coronet Diamonds: A division of Carl K. Gumpert, DANHOV, DAVID MOR, Doves by Doron Paloma, Fana, Henderson Collection by Lecil, Hulchi Belluni, KC Designs, LJ West Diamonds, Maiden Lane Jewelry, MARLI New York, Marco Daniel, Martin Flyer Jewelry, The Mazza Company, Mondrian Collection, Omi Privé, ORRANA, Papini Gioielli, Stroili Oro Group, Tasha, and Ziva Jewels.
Exhibitors and retailers will be transported back to the 1970’s on Sunday evening, July 27th, for an ’American Hustle’-themed welcome reception, complete with 70’s era music and cocktails. Invitees are encouraged to don their best period dress for the groovy affair.
Just announced today, top regarded speaker Scott Lachut, of PSFK will present the LUXURY Privé keynote address. Lachut will put under the microscope, the Future of Retail 2014 Report. Shining a light to reveal the exciting possibilities developing for brands and retailers, the PSFK Labs study has found that mobile and social have caused seismic shifts in shopper behavior, empowering them to shop on their own terms and interact with retailers and brands in entirely new ways. Businesses will witness the reverberations of these massive drivers of change. This keynote presentation will look at two key areas - Data-Driven Commerce Platforms and The Networked Purchase Path - helping retailers and brands navigate this new landscape.
Also new to LUXURY Privé this year will be the daily Merchandise Credit Drawings for attending retailers. Each day, exhibiting brands will have the opportunity to reward top retailers for buying and setting appointments. They will be entered into a daily drawing for merchandise credits, awarding $5,000 over the 3 days.
Another not-to-be-missed Show highlight will be Silver Promotion Service’s dedicated exhibit in the Foyer, featuring the latest collections from ARIVA: Living in Fine Jewelry, Charles Garnier, Phillip Gavriel, Repoussé Jewelry by Galmer, Somers, and The Samuel B. Collection. Introduced in 2008 by the Silver Institute, the objective of SPS is to develop and implement programs designed to enhance the image of and stimulate demand for silver jewelry in major international markets.
LUXURY Privé will also host two targeted press events during the course of the Show as well. On Monday, July 28th, consumer and trade editors will be welcomed to experience an Editors Preview, showcasing new mini-collections from over 40 exhibitors. The following day, Tuesday, July 29th, a full day of activities designed specifically for the blogger communities will be hosted on-site, including an intimate ’Meet the Designers’ luncheon.
