omellato, the iconic Milanese jewellery house, announces the opening of its directly operated boutique in Switzerland, located in the heart of Geneva’s prestigious Rue du Rhône. Set to become a landmark in sustainable luxury retail, the boutique is poised to be Pomellato’s first-ever LEED Platinum-certified store, marking a significant milestone in the Maison’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
The new boutique showcases Pomellato’s distinctive aesthetic through an immersive environment. A bespoke Murano glass chandelier by Milanese design brand 6:AM, created exclusively for Pomellato, serves as the boutique’s dramatic centrepiece. The striking red Montenapoleone colour, Pomellato’s iconic shade, is artfully combined with various pink hues throughout the space.
The interior features rich materials including Portuguese pink marble for the window frames and entrance door; pink Perlino marble combined with red travertine for the flooring in a captivating checkerboard pattern - a material that echoes the architectural heritage of historical Italian landmarks. The walls and ceilings are adorned with delicate hand-worked pink stucco. Throughout the boutique, lacquered surfaces and gilded brass details enrich the space, while rounded, soft shapes reminiscent of 1960s and 1970s Milanese design create a distinctive atmosphere that culminates in the Private Salon, furnished with comfortable seating and a signature table designed by Willy Rizzo.
