Cartier presents new variations on Love Unlimited

Reflecting a boundless vision of love, Love Unlimited has inspired Cartier to create new pieces that celebrate the ideal of Love: an all-gold necklace that introduces a new way of wearing and an elegant variant offering bracelets and rings set with diamonds instead of the iconic Love screws.

ombining ergonomics, elegance and exquisite craftsmanship, the necklace from this collection unfurls like a golden ribbon, designed to drape elegantly around the neck. Available in rose gold, yellow gold or rhodium-plated white gold, it features a fluid arrangement of gadrooned links interspersed with the distinctive Love screws.

The refined new bracelets in the collection enhance the radiance of Love Unlimited tenfold with a series of 0.80-carat round diamonds. Cartier has devised a special screw-shaped setting, crafted from white gold, even on the rose gold and yellow gold versions. This unique setting enhances the appearance and brilliance of the diamonds.

A testament to Cartier’s expertise in jewellery-making, the creation of Love Unlimited bracelets and necklaces requires great precision, particularly when assembling their 200 miniaturised components, each of which is polished entirely by hand. For the new bracelets, this jewellery-making challenge is compounded by the task of setting the diamonds, which are selected according to the Maison’s exacting criteria.

The diamond version of the Love Unlimited bracelet can be attached to another bracelet thanks to its invisible Cartier-patented clasp.

Created in 1969 in New York by the designer Aldo Cipullo, the Love bracelet revolutionised romantic jewellery. A reflection of its era, it embraced a new, radical and boundless freedom to love, the cultural legacy of which is carried on by the Love Unlimited bracelet.

This powerful vision of love is one to which Cartier has dedicated a campaign shot in Paris; in it, a couple in love share their Love Unlimited emotions along the Seine, which unfurls like a ribbon – a metaphor for infinity.

A story of love without limits, which Cartier also brings to life through Jacob Elordi, the cosmopolitan hero of an intimate and sensory photo series shot by the actor’s sister, Isabelle Elordi.

“There is a unique connection in photographing my brother - an ease and understanding that allows space for something honest to emerge. I wanted to capture Jacob as I know him, while reflecting the elegance and freedom at the heart of Love Unlimited.” Isabella Elordi
