udemars Piguet expands the celebrated 23mm quartz collection introduced in 2024. Deepening the dialogue between jewellery and watchmaking, these new models forgo the Frosted Gold finish of the previous editions, allowing exquisite stone dials to take centre stage. Enhanced by the Royal Oak’s signature polished and satin-brushed surfaces, this nuanced play of textures and tones magnifies the brilliance of each stone.
The first model features a mirror-polished black onyx dial – its deep, uniform surface exuding strength and elegance. Brilliant-cut diamond hour markers punctuate the dial, creating a striking contrast that radiates sophistication. Onyx, traditionally associated with strength and protection, adds a layer of symbolic depth to this 18-carat pink gold timepiece.
The second model showcases an extra-white mother-of-pearl dial framed by an 18-carat yellow gold case and bracelet. Admired for its iridescent reflections and natural origin, mother-of-pearl has long been appreciated across the industry for its association with femininity, lustre and durability.
While Audemars Piguet has used mother-of-pearl in past creations, its return to the Royal Oak collection marks a renewed celebration of this timeless material. The pairing of yellow gold and mother-of-pearl recalls historic Royal Oak designs while introducing a fresh, luminous aesthetic. At the heart of each timepiece, the quartz Calibre 2730 delivers over seven years of battery life and includes a switch function to deactivate the battery when not in use. Though powered by quartz, Calibre 2730 is finished with the same attention to detail as Audemars Piguet’s mechanical movements, underscoring the Manufacture’s commitment to excellence across all formats.
Inspired by the Mini Royal Oak launched in 1997, these new editions continue Audemars Piguet’s legacy of crafting miniature timepieces that blend technical precision with jewellery artistry.
