Victor Mayer - Trance collection

March 2014

The new fire enamel colours that the Victor Mayer team has used for its 2014 Trance collection are sophisticated and of a deep, fiery intensity: dark lichen green, vivacious red and sundance. By the way, these three colours can be combined wonderfully with one another to match the outfit and mood of their wearer.

In 2014 the design team at Victor Mayer has developed the idea of the in-depth effect further, presenting Trance earrings, necklaces and rings at the Basel fair for the first time in the colours that represent the design of the future. “Copper is the new gold,” says Victor Mayer Managing Director Dr. Marcus Mohr, referring to the latest trend in fashion and interior design around the world. "Those that wish to be both sophisticated and trendy are therefore choosing rose gold. And we are part of this too, now also offering our trendiest jewellery in this alloy. By the way, it really does acquire its warm hue from the fact that it contains copper.“”Our boldness in pursuing a new course has paid off," says VICTOR MAYER Managing Director Dr. Marcus Mohr. “Our new Trance design range was one of the most successful collections of 2013.”

For this range Victor Mayer combined the typical colourfulness and ornamentation of its jewellery with the clear forms of the Bauhaus. A concave sector with radiant fire enamel and centred flame guilloché draws the gaze into the depths almost magically.
