The first Dior boutique dedicated to jewellery and horlogerie in Switzerland

January 2010

Dior opened, a couple of minutes from their Ready-to-Wear boutique in la rue du Rhône, their first Swiss boutique dedicated to jewellery and horlogerie. The Dior House entrusted the creation of this boutique to the renowned architect Peter Marino.

Established in the continuity of the brand’s mansion at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris (restored in September 2007), this new place of theatrical architecture plays with the codes of the brand:

• The Dior grey, visible in an infinite palette of silk tones

• The medallion chair, upholstered by hand

• The moulded walls covered with Dior pleats or painted charcoal grey with metallic glints, reproducing a fabric effect

• The facets of the precious stones, symbolised by the presence of bevelled mirrors

• Aquarius, the star sign of Monsieur Dior, depicted as a constellation of zenithal lights
