Nadia Minkoff’s deliciously retro London Collection, was just in time to capture the spirit of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Inspired by the quirky appeal of the British capital, the Swarovski Elements-decorated range was made in the UK from original molds dating back to the 1960s and the 1980s.

Nothing sums up the spirit of the range better than her necklace featuring a Fish & Chips motif. Already snapped up by London’s V&A Museum, it comes with a gold or silver finish in two styles: a cute Swarovski Elements fish-shaped charm or an enamelled fish and Swarovski Elements beads. The other great British pastime, afternoon tea, is reflected in her Tea & Cake necklace with its a tiny cupcake and teapot on a chain.

There’s also a more recent icon, the London Eye charm: suspended from a fine chain, the famous wheel’s tiny seating pods are set with multi-colored crystals.

Other fun British-inspired designs among the 40 different pieces in the full collection include the London pendant, which has a vintage appeal with a contemporary twist. There’s also a Tea & Cake necklace, an Eggs & Chips set, and a whimsical Big Ben charm.
