Registration for the fourth edition of the Israel Diamond Week in New York is now open. Diamond buyers interested in attending are requested to register. The event will be held on the trading floor of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York, at 580 Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan, October 19-22, 2015.
“The diamond trading centers of Israel and New York complement each other,” DDC President Reuven Kaufman stated. “New York is the undisputed gateway for the diamond, gem and jewelry industry and trade in the United States while, since long, Israel has been one of the largest trading partners for the North American diamond market.”
Kaufman said that previous editions of the Israel Diamond Week in New York had offered solid proof that these ’interbourse’ trading events provide an extra boost to business relations between American and Israeli diamond traders and buyers. “In the diamond trade, there is nothing like face-to-face meetings to conclude a successful business transaction!” he noted.
About a hundred Israeli diamond traders will be joining their American colleagues on the DDC trading floor during the week. IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer said he was looking forward to yet another invigorating event. “The US is our most important market and the DDC is a long-time and trusted partner. Once again, we hope to create many win-win scenarios for the members of both bourses and the visiting buyers, toward the holiday sales season,” he said.
