Results for the elections for the posts of GJEPC Chairperson and Vice Chairperson; and for the Committee of Administration of Panel Members and Regional Chairpersons for the period 2015-17 were declared.

Praveenshankar Pandya of Revashankar Gems and also Chairperson of Diamond India Ltd, was elected Chairperson of the GJEPC. Russell Mehta, CEO of Rosy Blue (India) Pvt. Ltd. became its Vice Chairperson.

The Members of the Diamond Panel Committee of the newly constituted COA are:
- General Category - Ajesh N. Mehta, Dilip M. Shah, Manish P. Jivani;
- Status Holder Category - Saunak J. Parikh, Anil B. Virani, Sanjay K. Shah, Kirit A. Bhansali;
- MSME Category - Nirav J. Bhansali.
Members elected to the Jewellery & Other Precious Metal Jewellery Panel include:
- General Category - Mansukhlal V. Kothari;
- Status Holder Category – K. Srinivasan, Shailesh H. Sanghani;
- SEZ Category – Balram Garg.
Members elected to the Coloured Gemstones & Pearls are: General Category – Kishan Das Maheshwari, Vijay Kedia.
For the CFJ/SFT/SYS- General Category, Jitendra Kumar Rakyan is the successful candidate; and the Silver Jewellery – General Category will be represented by Ram Babu Gupta.
