The Piaget Rose collection, launched in 2012 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Yves Piaget rose, is enriched in 2013 with new and ultra-feminine models that welcome colours into their gold and diamond bouquets. Pink tourmalines and pink opals add a cheerful, flowery touch to the lines of the Piaget Rose collection – offering an elegant reminder of the charm of the Yves Piaget rose with its 80 lace petals and its entrancing scent.
Sculpted rose, openworked rose, lacework rose: three variations that marvellously embody the flower that has become the emblem of the House of Piaget – a talisman that conveys the emotion aroused by the beauty and boldness of jewellery. With the Piaget Rose collection, Piaget is redefining its historical ties with the rose.
For its second instalment in 2013, the collection welcomes the pink rose of passion and the pastel rose of love. Adorned with bright pink tourmalines and opals in softer shades, the collection sparkles with energy and charm. Comprising of a hundred different creations, it interprets the beauty and the subtle vulnerability of roses as seen by Piaget. Touching, stunning, gentle, childlike, luxurious and glamorous, for Piaget the queen of flowers embodies the many facets of femininity.
The range of sculpted, full-blooming roses in the Piaget Rose collection has been enriched with 15 new models. Shyly unfurling their golden petals paved with diamonds or pink opals surrounding a diamond heart, the mini-roses are lit by the subtle matching shades of colourful gemstones. This delightfully harmonious line reveals the balance and charm of dainty sizes through white and pink, ‘yours and mine’ models graced with tourmalines associated with a diamond-pavé rose. Its radiant pink tone adds a dynamic touch to a necklace featuring a pear-cut diamond and enlivens earrings adorned with a mobile stone. Combining the charm of opal roses with facetted tourmaline balls mounted on white gold chains, the drop bead jewellery set adopts the relaxed and impertinent allure of roses in a luminous embodiment of timeless beauty.
Openworked roses continue their game of hide and seek, inviting a ray of light to shine through their petals accentuated by brilliant-cut diamonds, thereby revealing the softness of the skin beneath.
Meanwhile, the range of Lacework roses welcomes three new models worthy of an ethereal, feather-light composition. A stylised rose ring shapely curls its petals around the finger like a motif tattooed directly on the skin. A long, white gold sautoir necklace features a double chain played up by cut-out rose silhouettes, pink opals and tourmalines. Supple, light earrings accentuate the graceful curve of the neck with its openworked gold petals.
In these three versions, inspired by women with their delicate nature, their freedom, their radiance and their seductive charm, Piaget lets its imagination roam free in interpreting the rose. The result is an avant-garde collection that nonetheless preserves the distinctive codes of High Jewellery to which the House remains profoundly attached.
