Piaget was once again in the spotlights on the red carpet during the Oscar awards ceremony held in the Kodak Theater on Sunday February 27th.

This year, Black Swan film director Darren Aronofsky wore a pink gold skeleton Altiplano model revealing the beauty of the Manufacture Piaget 838P ultra-thin mechanical hand-wound movement; while Mark Ruffalo, nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in The Kids are All Right, wore a white gold Piaget Polo watch.

However, the biggest red carpet sensation was created by Dale Dickey, the revelation of the Spirit Awards with her role in Winter’s Bone. A world away from her tragic role in a bleak and desolate American heartland, she shone in a sparkling blue dress and pink gold diamond earrings from Piaget’s latest creative collection, Limelight Garden Party.
More and more independent films are finding their place at the Oscars ceremony, and Piaget is proud to have been actively supporting them for the past four years at the Film Independent Spirit Awards held annually in Santa Monica, typically on the day before the Oscars.
