Orianne Collins opens her very first sales outlet in Switzerland

June 2009

Orianne is a designer of dreams with a sophisticated style. She has chosen jewellery as her main medium of expression because “it is the most universal form for immortalising the inspiration”.

In 2006, Orianne Collins makes her first designs around a theme close to her heart: her Little Dreams Foundation. Made in collaboration with the Van Cleef & Arpels firm, her “Charms” bracelet featured the Foundation’s 11 worlds.

In 2008, the designer presented her first collection at Basel World and designed the first jewellery line for the watchmakers Bédat & Co. Orianne Collins revisited the “Love” bracelet for Cartier, by creating two interlinked rings. Every year the Cartier firm chooses to turn over the profits from the sale of this bracelet to an organisation. That year the funds were donated to the “Little Dreams” Foundation at an end-of-year gala evening.

One year after the official launch of the “OC, Orianne Collins Jewellery” brand at Baselworld 2008, the Swiss designer Orianne Collins is getting ready to win the hearts of the people of Geneva and international globetrotters. At the end of June, “OC, Orianne Collins Jewellery” opens its first sales outlet in the Prestige Watch boutique at the Grand Hôtel Kempinski in Geneva. Initiation of the “OC Expressions in Luxury” concept store in New York City and development of the “OC Access” line.

For the identity of her new brand “OC, Orianne Collins Jewellery” she has drawn on all sorts of influences: emotions, dreams, graphic design and art. A style constellation which now offers modern women striking or unusual jewellery combinations, with poetic, artistic or ingénue ideas, each of them suited to one woman in particular. Through these ten different worlds of jewellery the collection expands into a real kaleidoscope of urban and traditional trends in a contemporary classic vein.

On the left, the OC Romance line in the shape of rebellious hearts which play unabashedly with contrasts of black, white, pink and gray, reminding us in a light-hearted way that love is not always the bed of roses one would hope for! Love needs drawing out and working on each day…

On the right, OC Limited is the acme of high-end jewellery. Amazingly refined and shamelessly extravagant, this mini-line is the richest of the OC collection.

On the left, Orianne Collins plays with precious woods, gold and resins. She inlays the gold initials delicately into the surface of the wood forming the body of the rings OC Signature line.

In the middlle, she recreates the magic which enveloped her when she visited the Glaoui Palace in Fez, Morocco, in her OC Tales line.

On the right, OC Vintage offers Art Deco and Neo Retro designs for rings which offer a joyous response to current vintage tastes.
