A new collection – In another homage to the motherland, Marchak unveils its new collection dedicated to the imaginary world of ancient and modern Russian fairytales, especially for us: ‘Michka’ bears made from mink with an onyx nose, moonstone and yellow gold ‘Frog princesses’, as well as modern-day tales such as ‘Twelve Months’, written in the 1960s by a member of the Marchak family, Samuel Marchak. This is a limited series of 12 gold, diamond and lacquer “Nuage de Palekh” rings, the firm’s famous emblematic ring. Each of them portrays a particular month of the year with its colours and lacquer nuances, each different – and each presented in a lacquered box from the celebrated town of Palekh, the Russian lacquer capital!
The collection will be presented to the press on Tuesday, September 28th, 2010, from 2pm to 9pm – Cocktail party from 6pm – In the reception rooms of the Hôtel d’Estrées, the residence of the Russian Ambassador in France, 79, rue de Grenelle – 75007 Paris.
