Marbella by Jean Nouvel

November 2016

Since its beginning in 2005, skin jewelry design has become a flagship offer from the Marbella house. With its collaboration with Jean Nouvel, Marbella entirely revisits the art of classic body jewelry to produce the first collection of temporary fine jewelry – Marbella by Jean Nouvel. The result of this first collaboration will be presented in an exclusive display in Paris during the exhibition devoted to Jean Nouvel which started October 27, 2016.

This new collection composed of three models features the introduction of precious materials and a Marbella hallmark: for the very first time, each piece from the collection will be stamped with a Marbella master hallmark from its crafting studios in Picardie.

A smooth style, bold assemblies, unique materials, architectural innovation… the new fine jewelry collection from Marbella reflects the know-how of the greatest French architect and the most innovative house of exceptional skin jewelry.

“An inescapable attribute for both Marbella and women who value their freedom as much as their style” . Adeline Moniez

Marbella by Jean Nouvel: three models for a complete collection The new Marbella by Jean Nouvel collection is a complete collection composed of three models – a gold-plated model, another model in solid gold and an exclusive model in gold and diamonds with a customized finish.

These three models introduce a new form of freedom of expression in beauty, whose meaning and essence are interpreted with charm and mystery.

Adeline Moniez and Jean Nouvel were inspired by the wonder of the constellations, the tribal enchantment of African ornaments, and the geometry of shapes for an infinite number of different ways to wear this new fine jewelry.

“Certainly a new art form that will mark its times.”

The first pieces will be available in a limited edition starting December 2nd on the site www.marbellaparis.fr and at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs gift shop in Paris... In all, twelve hundred eight numbered pieces (/1208) will be produced, only eight of which will be offered with a customized finish.
