K. Brunini Jewels Inspired by historical love affairs from Cleopatra to Sophia Loren, Katey Brunini presents the Bridal Collection for Couture 2016.
The collection is infused with the smoke of black-and-white era films, sunrise at volcanic Mt. Etna, and the Sicilian rainbow colors of fichi di India. Designer Katey Brunini’s vision for the collection combines poetry, love stories, fire, passion and endless love; therefore the launch has become a multi-sensory experience with music videos, poetry, sensual photography, social media, and an online shopping channel.
The focus is a celebration of COLOR as the centerstone. Not long has diamond been the “traditional” engagement ring. In fact, colored stones throughout history have been given as a symbol of eternal love (recall the “moi et toi” ring given by Napoleon to Josephine). The bridal collection of 2016 puts the spotlight on Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, (the big 3), and sweet Beryl in all shades: pink, mint, aqua, and pale sunshine yellow. These pastel sorbet colors shift vibrantly into rich vermillion, emerald, and cyan. The hues range from sweet to savage, much like relationships. The nexus is that each unique ring is unforgettable and passionate.
Predominant in the line are Twig and Vertebrae textures which offset rose cut diamonds, fancy shaped center stones and a variety of colorful diamond/gemstone accents.
