The Fall 2011 Bamboo collection of John Hardy captures the noble bamboo grass sliced at an angle and bubbling with fresh water, a daily scene on the island of Bali. Twisting the design into jewelry, the bamboo becomes hand-carved sterling silver, and the fount of water captured as a pool of diamonds.
John Hardy continues their commitment to the environment with the ‚Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo‛ program, in which customers’ Bamboo collection jewelry purchases yield corresponding seedling contributions. In the last year, John Hardy planted 600,000 seedlings throughout the island of Bali.
