The annual list of Israel’s largest polished diamond exporters was published by the Israel Diamond Controller’s Office in the Ministry of Economy. For the third consecutive year Leo Schachter Diamonds tops the list, with net exports of $328 million in 2013.
Second and third on the list of top exporters are again M.I.D. House of Diamonds with $247 million and A.A. Rachminov Diamonds with $210 million. In 4th and 5th place are Niru Diamonds Israel and Ofer Mizrahi Diamonds, with $112 million and $103 million in net exports, respectively.
Next on the list are: Andre Messika in 6th place, with $100 million; in 7th place is D.N. Diamonds with $94 million and Yoshfe Diamonds International in 8th place with $91 million. In 9th place is Rosy Blue Sales with $82 million and in 10th place, O.S.G. Polishing with $77 million.
Total net polished exports of the 20 largest companies in 2013 stood at $1.95 billion, or about 32% of Israel’s net total polished exports in 2013 of $6.2 billion.
The Diamond Controller noted that the list of 20 does not include 19 companies who chose not to publish their export figures. He said that the top 30 companies accounted for exports of $3.2 billion or 53% of Israel’s net total polished exports.
