A third-generation jeweller, following his father who was an accomplished bench jeweller and his uncle who was a jeweller to the King of Norway, Gordon Aatlo started his apprenticeship at a very early age. He was already producing his own designs by the time he was ten. For the next six decades, Aatlo developed a collection of cutting-edge pieces known for their innovation, quality, and truly timeless designs. He has collaborated with world renown gemstone artists including Glenn Lehrer, Arthur Lee Anderson, Berndt and Tom Munsteiner, and Larry Woods, creating award-winning artistry in fine jewellery and earning him the title of "The Gemstone Artist’s Jewellery Artist." His studio, Gordon Aatlo Designs, based in San Carlos, California, houses a body of work that consists of more than 60 years of designs, and now the fourth generation of this talented family will carry on their father’s work. As Gordon wished, they will continue to produce some of the most spectacular, inventive, and unique pieces in the jewellery industry.
