The GEM Awards Committee is seeking submissions for potential 2016 GEM Award nominees. Companies and individuals can submit themselves or others for consideration in the categories of: Jewelry Design, Lifetime Achievement, Marketing & Communications, Media Excellence and Watch Design.

Considered the Academy Awards of the jewelry industry, GEM Awards is Jewelers of America’s annual gala that honors the achievements of individuals and companies whose work raises the visibility of fine jewelry and watches. The GEM Awards Committee will review the submissions to determine the final 2016 GEM Award Nominees in each category. There are three nominees per category, with the exception of Lifetime Achievement.
Those selected as the 2016 GEM Awards Nominees for each category will be judged by a panel of industry experts and influencers whose ballots will be sent to an independent firm that will determine the winners and keep the results confidential. The winners will be announced live at GEM Awards on January 8, 2016. The GEM Award for Lifetime Achievement will be pre-selected and announced in advance of the gala.
The GEM Award for Jewelry Design, GEM Award for Marketing & Communications and GEM Award for Media Excellence will be judged for their body of work from July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015.
