Commelin - Strolling through a flower garden

January 2014

Since 1880, Commelin manufacturers, in Paris, has been enamelling 18Kt gold medals and fine jewellery. Now Commelin invites us to stroll through a flower garden, discovering thousands of wonderfully scented multicoloured flowers

Anemone

One of the first flowers of spring, there are many different species of anemone, with a variety of petals in varied shapes, sizes and colours (from red to white, including every shade of purple, pink, orange, and blue).

This flower inspired Commelin to design a gold and enamel pendant, available in 2 sizes (14 and 19mm) and 3 colours: White Anemone, Blue Anemone and Red Anemone.

Dahlia

The dahlia, with its abundant, brightly coloured flowers which light up the garden all summer long, is originally from America; there are over forty thousand different varieties of dahlia. Its flowers with their variety of shapes and sizes (from 0.20 to 1.30 metre) bloom in every colour, except blue.

The “Dahlia” pendant comes in 3 versions: “fire dahlia” in warm, coppery hues – “black dahlia” in a range of carmine and purple – “pink dahlia” in a delicate coppery pink.

Rudbeckia

There are around thirty different varieties of this flower which is originally from North and Central America, and varies in size from 60cm to 1.8m. Its petals come in various shades of yellow through to orange and are deployed around a central cone-shaped heart in shades of dark brown to black.

The “Rudbeckia” pendant is available in 4 sizes: 16, 19, 22 and 28 mm. New colours will shortly be available in addition to the current “purple” model.
