Cheté introduces new and refreshing Collections

April 2013

Cheté takes jewelry seriously, but they also like to have fun. That is how their newest collection was born. Click Clack recollects the natural simplicity and wonder of childhood, by combining beautiful gemstones with sterling silver to create captivating, playful jewelry.

The Click Clack collection comprises a series of necklaces which prominently feature exquisite hand-picked semi-precious gemstones, enhanced with silver motifs and colourful beads. The result is both trendy and mischievous; the wearer can feel and hear the playful interaction of the gems, which “click” and “clack” with every move.

Chete’s multi-national designers are encouraged to draw inspiration from their local traditions and cultures, which enable Cheté to produce a wide spectrum of uniquely styled, timeless jewelry that always outlives passing fads.

In addition to Chete’s joyful new Click Clack jewelry, Cheté introduces 4 more hand-crafted collections:

Sakura:

A line of silver earrings and pendants inspired by calla lilies and other flora, which elicit the ambience of Japanese art forms. A rich palette of natural elements, reflecting the fundamentals of beauty and grace are the essential themes of the new Sakura collection. All items are made of sterling silver, mounted with semi-precious gemstones. Designed for the upscale market, Sakura jewels complement any outfit, fashionably suit any occasion, and are guaranteed to draw admiration with their delicate, lustrous gem-flowers and fluid composition. In time for the spring, Sakura is the ultimate fashion accessory for any season and any reason.

Kandahar:

A diverse collection of different groups of jewelry, each conveying aspects of oriental ornaments in architecture and nature. The dramatic pieces are designed to stimulate a sense of adventure and mystery, and create an intriguing dialogue between luxury and simplicity. All pieces are gold plated, enameled in black, and set with white and champagne CZ stones.

Shalosh:

Shalosh, which means “three” in Hebrew, is a surprising new line of jewelry, with each piece a mini-collection in itself. Shalosh captures the modern, urban attitude, in which cultural icons are blurred and interlaced.

Three different pendants become one unique piece of jewellery Shalosh incorporates gemstones, filigrees, and 3-dimensional elements - each one with a different texture and plating - to create a keepsake that tells its own special story.

Wabi Sabi:

Two words which form one special form of beauty – the perfection of imperfection. Wabi-Sabi is the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. It is the beauty of things unconventional, inspired by nature, simplicity and subtle flaws, to achieve a deeper, more meaningful presence.

All items in the Wabi Sabi collection follow this typical Japanese aesthetic: asymmetry, and slight imperfections, which are the trademark of handmade items, as opposed to “soulless” machine-made jewellery. The gold plating, with its “unfinished” look, and the gorgeous semi-precious stones, such as labradorite, carnelian, turquoise, and coral, which retain their natural flaws, making each piece a unique one-of-a-kind creation.
