In June 2008, being a jewelry designer, Catherine Zadeh dedicated a simple yet meaningful bracelet to her friend Caroline, sadly stricken with MS, with the purpose of raising money to help her and her children have a shot at a decent—peaceful—life. The Peace bracelet, inscribed with the motto “Live and Let Live”, allowed her to raise $60,000 in 3 months.

This inscription, traditionally interpreted as a call for respect and tolerance, came to suggest a new awareness of not only the blessings in our own lives, but also a call to pass on these blessings. So she took her vision one step further and expanded the concept to open collaborative partnerships with other charity organizations dear to her heart.
