Jewelry Designer Lyndsay Caleo attributes the simplicity and clean aesthetic of her work to a longstanding fascination with Scandinavian design and Primitive art.
She brought elements of these genres into her sculpture, and then perfected her signature style by training as a goldsmith at the renowned Rhode Island School of Design.

Never driven by trend, Caleo allows her jewelry designs to develop organically at her New York City studio. Besides drawing inspiration from painters and sculptors, Caleo credits nature`s ultimate design, from the purposeful shapes of plants to the camouflaging colorings of Piscean life - for the cohesive natural systems found in her jewelry. Like nature, Caleo`s designs conceal utility in beauty, while losing nothing in translation.
