The Bulgari Retrospective, a significant exhibition both for the Italian culture, art and heritage of jewelry-making, will be open to the Chinese public again from February 17th to April 17th, 2012, at the Aurora Museum in Shanghai.
Presented at the National Museum of China in Beijing last September and October, this exhibition has attracted tremendous audiences to visit and appreciate the institutional journey of 125 years of magnificence of Bulgari heritage. This great success provided a comprehensive survey of European jewelry design viewed through the creations of Bulgari, one of the world’s leading jewelers.

In February, the show will feature for the first time in Mainland China, an exclusive exhibition of Bulgari jewels from the personal collection of Elizabeth Taylor.
Entitled “125 Years of Italian Magnificence,” the exhibition will bring together nearly 600 exquisite masterpieces, including jewelry, watches, clocks and decorative objects, created from the opening of the first Bulgari store on Via Sistina, Rome, in 1884, through to the present day. This fascinating retrospective will illustrate the origin and ongoing success of a distinctive style of jewelry, and celebrate the extraordinary inventiveness and high level of craftsmanship that characterizes all Bulgari creations.
