Frédéric Boucheron first created a “serpent necklace” for his wife, Gabrielle, in 1888. It was a token of his love and also a talisman to protect her while he was on a business trip. The reptile returned to the French jewelry house’s menagerie in 1968.
As China celebrates the Year of the Snake, Boucheron has made the serpent the main theme of a new collection, Serpent Boheme. The reinterpretation of the Maison’s classics combined with new dimensions and modern style make the Serpent Bohème collection a quintessential Boucheron emblem.
