Based on its birth in New York City in 1892, A. Jaffe has created a bridal jewelry collection honoring the city that has inspired decades of style.
The Heritage Program has four collections of rings: Landmark, Golden Age, Seasons of Love, and Past Perfect, each representing a time period of style and history in New York. Within each collection are several Show Stopper pieces, designed to be attention grabbing and glamorous enough for the “red carpet”. Each Show Stopper piece is crafted in platinum with a center stone weight of three carats or more.

The first of four collections, the Landmark Collection, is reminiscent of the decade that shaped the foundation of New York City. From the World’s Fair to the emergence of Wall Street, this era set the tone for New York City culture. The Landmark has a classic and basic solitaire style that was cutting edge in the early decades of the 20th century, still relevant even today.
The Golden Age Collection captures the era that brought romance back to New York, with couples like Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio, Lucy and Desi Arnaz and the Honeymooners. As the country came out of the Great Depression and World War II, the city saw the birth of architectural feats such as the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings. The pieces of this collection reflect romance and commitment, and embody the architectural design of the era.

The rings in the Seasons of Love collection are a bit more cutting edge, expressing the personal freedom and liberation of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. These decades were home to the Summer of Love at Woodstock, and such heartrending as West Side Story and When Harry Met Sally. The collection inspires the feelings of love defined during the period.
The last twenty years have seen a rush of technological advances, changing the world at a breathtaking pace. As the world around us becomes more modern, we have seen a shift back to the classic styles. The Past Perfect collection is taking the preceding eras of style and turning them into the modern classic, completing the full circle of fashion.
