Guilloche
The superb guilloche pattern is a retrospection of the classic cuff links contrasting with the modern shape. This technique, used to decorate jewellery with fine design and dials, consists of engraving geometrical motifs on metal surfaces in the form of lines placed at regular intervals. The patterns are engraved manually using an engraving tool with mechanical gears. Each line is the graphical replica of overlapped movements of a sophisticated gear mechanism. This is one of the most brilliant engraving techniques.

Enameling
Enamel is another specialty of Victor Mayer. The rich colors of Victor Mayer fire enamel are unequaled, and are created using the same work process as in the past. Enamel powder is mixed with liquid, applied with fine brushes or spatulas and fired. This process is repeated up to ten times, after which the artists sand the surface by hand, polish it, and fire it one more time to make the pieces of jewellery shine. Another cherished detail of design is the paillons shaped as tiny stars and inlayed in the enamel.
