2016 is a year of celebration at Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. The opening act is a magical brand campaign that combines the essence of quality and craftsmanship with aesthetic playfulness.

From the authentic circus wagon to the gorgeous fortune-teller with her foreseeing crystal ball and quirky bunnies posing from top hats, the 2016 Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen brand campaign is a tribute to this year’s upcoming celebrations. The campaign is set within the frames of an old-fashioned travelling circus and places extravagant high-end jewellery in magical surroundings of understated luxury. A bohemian backdrop to covetable pieces from the latest Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen collections, all handmade examples of the brand’s devotion to thorough craftsmanship and intricate design: Shooting stars of twinkling diamonds, seductive gold snakes and diamondcovered elephants, hand-engraved leaves and acorns, and immaculate gemstones of irresistible colours.

Once again, fine jewellery designer and Creative Director Charlotte Lynggaard designed and directed the company’s brand campaign, her artistic fingerprint visible in every last detail: “For me personally, this has been the most complicated, and at the same time the most rewarding, brand campaign yet. I was able to combine my love of fine jewellery with my deep passion for fashion, interior decoration and scenography,” says Charlotte Lynggaard.

An original and privately owned 1950s circus wagon with beautiful mahogany woodwork and sandblasted windows served as background in all outdoor shots, while a professional scenic painter recreated the lazily lush atmosphere of the wagon interior in a studio set. The exotic and seductive circus atmosphere was created through a soft palette of perfectly harmonised earth colours in sensual nuances of ochre, burgundy, pale blue and dusty greys and greens. Internationally recognised fashion photographer Anders Overgaard shot the campaign featuring Swedish model, Mona Johannesson, whose rare, ethereal beauty epitomises the Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen celebration spirit of 2016.

The circus theme constitutes a dominant visual effect throughout 2016. From brand book and magazine adds to store decorations and fine jewellery silk strings, the campaign is designed to ensure that fine jewellery devotees all over the world immediately recognises the design ingenuity and the impeccable craftsmanship that makes every quality-conscious woman feel beautiful and unique in the company of fine jewellery from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.
