Fall Winter 2010 ZoeMou Jewelry collection

June 2010

The name ‘zoemou’ translates to ‘my life’, and was given to artist Zoe Sernack as a childhood nickname while living on the Greek Islands. She has been designing accessories for over ten years and launched her own label in 2005, producing a collection far from the mainstream.

Inspired by art nouveau designs, typically produced in Paris in the 1920’s, Zoe has created a striking range of laser-cut necklaces.

The fourth range named ”Nobilta Di Dame”, (noble class of ladies) is inspired by the historical Baroque period, each piece is named after well known woman of the 17th century, and popular names of that time. The emphasis for each style is on contrasting volume and texture with elaborate shapes and adornments.
