Renowned designer Paloma Picasso creates a stunning new jewelry collection inspired by the olive branch as a symbol of peace and abundance.
- Paloma’s Olive Leaf bib necklace with Tsavorites & Paloma’s Olive Leaf pendants in silver and gold
The new collection, Paloma’s Olive Leaf, captures elements from the olive groves surrounding her home in Morocco, and also represents a link to her name. “Paloma means dove in Spanish,” she says. The collection is sumptuous yet delicate, a garden of precious metals shot with gemstones. A bib necklace traces the tender leaves and stems in an intricate, openwork pattern of brilliant green tsavorites and 18 karat gold. This elegant profusion of leaves forges pendants in gleaming gold or sterling silver, as well as one-of-a-kind rings in 18 karat white gold and diamonds. Gold cuffs echo the ancient olive wreathes that crowned the glorious and victorious.

The designer places beautiful and colorful gemstones among leafy branches of gold or silver. Rubellite and green peridot cabochons are entwined in ring settings of 18 karat gold with diamonds. Pear-shaped rubellites accent luxuriant drop earrings of gold and sparkling diamond leaves. There are also earrings with perfect ovals of translucent blue topaz suspended boldly from little gold leaves. Tiffany’s skilled artisans hand cut and set each stone to unleash maximum color and light.
